This is my best friend and room mate Loretta Qui-Gon Jinn. I also made a Jedi outfit for her. It is made the same way as mine. She also helped in the completion of it. After THE PHANTOM MENACE, she grew her hair out long in order to wear it like Qui-Gon. The beard was glued onto her face in the way actors do. It took awhile to get the beard just right, so it was not worn very often. It was only done for special costumed events and for taking photos. The rest of the time, she wore the outfit with Qui-Gon's hair style but without the beard. She was Mrs. Qui-Gon. This picture was taken with my old film camera. The light saber was enhanced with Adobe Photoshop.
Qui-Gon Jinn represented what a Jedi should be. He was a Jedi of the Golden Age when the Jedi were truly in line with the will of the Force. He was the Jesus Christ of the Jedi order in that galaxy. He had a deeper contact with the Force, more so than the others. He was the purest light-sider because he had the warmest personality and a sense of compassion. Had he lived, things would have turned out differently for Anakin; and perhaps the Jedi would not have gone apostate.
