| This is my friend and room mate Loretta Anakin Skywalker. After ATTACK OF THE CLONES, she wanted to be Anakin. She cut her hair short and donated the hair to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for cancer patients. She kept one strand for the padawan braid and used the same color bands as Anakin. Her outfit was quite complex to make, and it took two of us working on it for weeks to complete it. It is made from Irish linen, and the outer parts are made of thick vinyl. That had to be meticulously sewn one stitch at a time. This photo was taken just behind our place in a dry ditch on a cool winter day.
Anakin represents a person who got a too tough deal in life and had temptations no one could bear. He had inferior training due to the loss of his master Qui-Gon with whom he had true compatibility. In REVENGE OF THE SITH, he snapped and went off the deep end, but then who wouldn't?
