Empress Palpatine Here is my latest incarnation, Empress Palpatine! Welcome to my Dark Side! This is my mysterious side. It is also the side of myself which can deal with the world, which is a dark place. Palpatine is the arch type of one who can still function within darkness and yet keep his inner equilibrium. He represents POWER. Without power, one would simply be devoured. This is why Anakin attracted to him; he was a stable bastion in those turbulent dark times.

This outfit I sewed myself by hand using super heavy thread. The cloth is pure cotton, but it is as weighty and heavy as a blanket. It has that thick bumpy look like what the emperor wore in RETURN OF THE JEDI. I also made the Sith clasp. I later got authentic replicas of both the pin and the cane. This photo was taken with a digital camera. I cut my figure out and made a whole new background and added the lightning with Adobe Photoshop. I'm getting more modern now.

I'm taking this computer graphic design course, and it is opening up a whole new world. Now I can do special effects I only used to dream about.
