| Obi-Wan is proven to represent these self-righteous know-it-all Christians, who no matter how much damage they cause, they always claim to be right even after death. Even as late as Episode VI as a ghost, Obi-Wan still insists Vader is twisted and evil. He never softens or admits any fault on Obi-Wan's part.
In the real world of religion, Obi-Wan and Yoda would be forced to re-incarnate to pay the karmic debt. That would be in keeping with Hinduism and Buddhism. In Wicca terms, the black magic they set in motion would come back three times worse. In Christianity according to the Bible, for the sin of forcing the little ones to go astray and leading Anakin into perdition, better a millstone be around your neck, and you be cast into the sea. Jesus says this in the book of Luke. For being the false church only looking good but just as evil underneath, the Bible says two things happen. One, these are judged at the Great White Throne. Two, they are given the ultimate judgment known as the second death. So here is an example of how four different religions deal with this problem.
Religiously speaking, Obi-Wan and Yoda would not appear with Anakin in the last scene in Episode VI. Anakin would be there with Qui-Gon Jinn smiling at Luke; and when Luke dies, he would join them for saving Vader.
