My WEBER ancestry starts in the Saarland region of Germany in the mid 1700s. Conrad Weber raised his family in Lautzkirchen. His son Christian Weber settled in the town of Bierbach, Germany which
is near Bleiskastel. The Bierbach Webers emmigrated to the U.S. and settled in Buffalo, NY
where Peter Weber was naturalized on 13-Sep-1858. Peter married Catherine Reinlander on
21-Jan-1856 in St. Louis Church, Buffalo NY. He worked as a basketmaker and ran a basket
factory on Lemon Street in Buffalo. My Grandfather, William J.
Weber was Peter's grandchild.
