STUDIO JAMS

These are less formal gatherings of small groups of students for which we hire a fine jazz accompanist, share some songs, and learn something of actual jazz/pop performance practice. Jams may happen prior to a Studio Day to help singers loosen up their jazz chops or just for fun, because making good music is an end in itself.
